Backend Engineer
On behalf of our Client, PROCOM is searching for a Backend Engineer. The candidate should have excellent working knowledge of NodeJS, Cloud platforms (esp. Docker containers in Azure & AWS), Shell-scripting/Linux. This professional is an excellent Backend software engineer and is passionate about the health and wellness industry.
Additionally, this professional must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, using cutting-edge technology and working with big data.

Job Details for the Backend Engineer
- backend engineer must be comfortable designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining server-side components.
- Work alongside the design, data science, and software teams to build scalable, reliable, secure, production ready services
- Build out REST APIs
- Design and implement databases including schemas, triggers, scalability and reliability
- Assist in the design of system architecture and implementation
- Help maintain legacy projects
Mandatory Skills For the Backend Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of backend development experience
- Experience with JavaScript and SQL
- Knowledge of backend tools (Node, npm, Shell scripting, Python, etc.)
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and programming paradigms
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skill.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of team of developers.
