Classification: Director of Accounting
Compensation: $225000.00 to $250000.00 yearly
Our client is a leader in the medical technology sector and is looking to add a dynamic Director of Finance to their team.
The Director of Finance will need an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. The successful individual will be responsible for consolidated audited financial statements under both US GAAP (PCABO audit standards) and IFRS. This position requires minimal supervision with the ability to work independently and proactively identify and resolve issues.

What you will do
• Deliver consolidated audited financial statements under both US GAAP and IFRS ( >60 legal entities across 14 countries)
• Provide leadership for annual consolidated audit (PCAOB US GAAP)
• Provide technical accounting guidance and memos under US GAAP (primary reporting standard) and manage conversion/impact to IFRS
• Provide leadership on global treasury issues, debt compliance monitoring
• Support ongoing policy and process improvement initiatives
• Leverage operational and accounting systems
• Design various dashboards and prepare appropriate reports for the same.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
What you will need
• 8-10 years' experience + accounting designation, prefer with global experience
• Experience writing technical accounting memos
• Experience running point on audits of multi-entity companies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
