HR Labor Relations Advisor needed in Abbotsford for 12 month contract, $80K + salary, starting ASAP!
Agilus is recruiting for a Human Resources Labor Relations Advisor in the municipal sector in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Our client in Abbotsford is looking for an HR Labor Relations Advisor to join their team for a 12-month contract (maternity leave coverage). This is a role starting ASAP. It will be 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday. We're a recruitment firm that provides the best of the best candidates for our clients' open roles. This role is perfect for someone organized, eager, and experienced!
A typical day:

  • Problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Providing expertise about labor relations
  • Performance management and coaching
  • Handling basic grievances
  • Workplace labor relations investigations and discipline
  • Agreement interpretation and applications
  • Maintaining relationships with union reps

Successful candidates will have:
  • CPHR designation
  • Degree or diploma in HR
  • 9+ years of experience with a focus on labor relations in a unionized environment
  • Excellent communication skills

You'll receive:
  • 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday
  • 12-month contract
  • $80K - $100K range based on experience
  • ASAP start date
